Quicken us O LORD

 Greetings family.

Thanks for being with us today for another moment of prayer and fellowship with The LORD.

Together we press in The LORD. It is indeed easier to go through life with Our LORD Jesus Christ than being a wanderer in this broken world. 

Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)

  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Our Reading Today:

Psalms 80:18 (KJV) 

 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

John 6:63-64 (KJV)

 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Prayer 

1. Quicken us O LORD, so will not we go back from Thee.

2. Help us O LORD to be steadfast in You, despite all the temptations that come our way.

3. Quicken us and we will call upon Thy Name. For it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

Romans 9:16 (KJV)

 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

4. Show us mercy O LORD and quicken us. For it is the Spirit that quickens,the flesh profits nothing.

5. Strengthen us with might by Your Spirit in our inner man

Ephesians 3:16 (KJV)

 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

6. Help us to remain steadfast in You. Help us not to betray You. Help us to do only those things which are pleasing to You.

7. Help us O LORD to draw near to You so that You will draw near to us.

James 4:8 (KJV)

 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

8. Help us Spirit of the Living God. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought.

Romans 8:26 (KJV) 

 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

9. Where withal shall a young man cleanse his way?

Psalms 119:9 (KJV) 

 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10. Have Your way in our lives O LORD. Do that which is pleasing to You. Thank You LORD for being with us always in JESUS NAME we have prayed Amen.

If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, say this prayer sincerely with your mouth and believe with your heart.

 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and wash me. Come into my life. Help me to love You and serve You. Be the master of my life from now on in Jesus Name I have prayed Amen.
