The Presence of God
Greetings family.
Thanks for being with us today for another moment of prayer and fellowship with The LORD.
Together we press in The LORD. It is indeed easier to go through life with Our LORD Jesus Christ than being a wanderer in this broken world.
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Today we will be talking about The Presence of God.
Prayer
1. Our Father, we worship You , we glorify Your Name, Be thou exalted O LORD and let Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14 (KJV)
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
2. O LORD, we thank you for your mercy and grace upon our lives.
3. O LORD, as we fellowship, expand Yourself in our midst.
4. O our Father, visit us in amazing ways.
5. Have your way in our lives and do only that which is pleasing to You .
6. Thank You LORD for Your presence in our lives in Jesus Name we have prayed Amen.
The Presence of God
There are places and atmospheres where the presence of God is present. And there are others which have names and physical locations and the presence of God is not actually there. We will not be talking about places or atmospheres of the presence of God. We will be talking about the presence of God coming to us, maintaining the presence of God and the outcome of the presence of God.
The Presence of God Coming to Us
For the presence of God to come to us, it has to be a deliberate, conscious and intentional seeking of God.
Proverbs 8:17 (KJV)
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
For the presence of God to come to us, we have to love and desire that presence and seek Him and search for Him. Searching for Him not in places but with the whole heart.
How to maintain the presence of God
To maintain the presence of God, we have to be deliberate and intentional about maintaining the presence of God. We have to keep doing the things which permits us to remain in the presence of God.
Psalms 105:4 (KJV)
Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
To maintain the presence of God, we have to continuously seek The LORD and His strength and His face always. Everyday and all the time always being conscious and maintaining that presence by doing those things which permits the presence of God to remain with us and avoiding those things which will drive away His presence.
We should always keep in mind that our God is a Holy God.
1 Peter 1:13-16 (KJV)
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The Outcome of the Presence of God
There is so much that comes out of the presence of God.
John 14:21 (KJV)
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
There is a manifestation of the presence of God for every one who maintains that presence. The carrier of the presence will know and also it will not be limited to the carrier alone but it will be acknowledged by the people around that person.
The presence of God is a place to be always and maintaining that presence is a priority responsibility because out of the presence of God there is exposure to the devil. We have to keep praying and keep studying The Word of God.
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Psalms 91:1 (KJV)
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, say this prayer sincerely with your mouth and believe with your heart.
Romans 10:10 (KJV)
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and wash me. Come into my life. Help me to love You and serve You. Be the master of my life from now on in Jesus Name I have prayed Amen.
